Hackathon’26 – Event Coordination & Technical Execution

Hackathon’26, organized by the Leo Club of the University of Kelaniya, was a large-scale innovation-driven event that brought together participants from Leo Clubs across the Leo Multiple District Council 306 (Sri Lanka & Maldives). The event served as a platform for young innovators to collaborate, ideate, and present impactful solutions.

As an Event Coordinator, I played a key role in the technical operations of the event. My responsibilities included managing presentation systems, coordinating projector setups, handling audio configurations, and ensuring smooth video playback throughout the sessions. I worked closely with multiple teams to maintain a seamless flow of activities, minimizing technical disruptions and enhancing the overall participant experience.

This experience strengthened my skills in event management, technical coordination, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure. It also provided me with the opportunity to support and witness innovative ideas evaluated by an experienced panel of judges, making it a highly rewarding and insightful journey.

Being part of Hackathon’26 reflects my ability to manage real-world technical environments while contributing effectively to collaborative, high-impact events.
